COVID Safe Medical Care

Even mild COVID-19 infections can damage every organ system in the body. Despite the overwhelming scientific evidence available in our LIBRARY, many medical providers are still refusing to wear masks or take even the most basic airborne precautions while meeting patients for in-person care. This blatant disregard for patient safety is not just irresponsible—it’s dangerous. Vulnerable people are being forced to delay or avoid essential care and screenings because the risk of being infected at them is very real. COVID-19 infections acquired during hospital visits or routine care appointments have left many patients infected and permanently disabled. Even in 2023, hospital-acquired COVID-19 remained deadly. One study revealed that patients, many of them fully vaccinated, were still dying at high rates after catching the virus inside hospitals, especially in general medicine wards.

No one should risk getting sicker just by trying to access healthcare. It’s time to demand better.
